What you throw away stays in the trash for 30 days. After that it is permanently deleted.
Throwing something away
- In Files: right-click and choose Delete, or press Delete.
- A whiteboard, task board, page, table, note or drawing you have open: choose Delete in the menu with the three dots.
- For a whiteboard you choose whether the files on it should go too. By default they stay in their folder.
- The cards of a task board go along and come back if you restore the board.
Getting it back
- Right after throwing something away, a message with Undo appears.
- Later you open Trash in the folder list. Right-click something (press and hold on a phone) and choose Restore, or drag it to a folder.
- At the top you can restore everything at once.
Deleting permanently
Choose Delete permanently, or Empty Recycle Bin for everything. That cannot be undone. What is in the trash still counts towards your storage.
