Once your mail is connected, you read and answer it here. These are the things you use most.
Reading and replying
- Click a conversation to read it. On a phone you tap it.
- Below the conversation you find Reply, Reply all and Forward.
- Above the conversation you archive or delete it, and snooze it until later.
Writing a new email
- Press New email. Your email opens next to the list, and your draft is saved automatically.
- When sending, you choose whether it goes straight away or at a time you pick yourself.
Organising
- Labels: give an email your own labels. An email can have several. Create a new label with the plus next to Labels.
- Dragging: drag an email to a folder or label. On a phone you do that with the handle on the row.
- Snoozing: not now? Snooze an email and it comes back by itself at the time you choose.
- Newsletters: see what you signed up for here, and unsubscribe.
From email to task or appointment
Right-click a conversation, or press and hold it on a phone, and choose a task or appointment. The subject becomes the title and the email stays linked to it. You can also drag an email to a task board.
