An organisation is your whole company in one place: all colleagues and teams, on one subscription. We set up an organisation for you; please contact us for that.
Who is who
- Owner: the subscription is on this account. The owner cannot simply leave or delete their account while the organisation exists.
- Admin: invites people, chooses roles and sets up teams.
- Member: works in their teams. A member does not need their own subscription.
Teams
Each department can have its own team, with its own pages, boards, calendars and folders. In a team, someone is an Admin, Member or Reader. Create a team where the rights differ, not where the organisation chart differs. Every new member joins a default team automatically.
An admin of the organisation sees all teams, but not what is in them. To get in, they add themselves to the team.
Sharing per page or folder
Within an organisation, you can use Share to open a page, folder or file to a colleague, a team or the whole organisation: Manage, Edit, Read or No access. Anyone outside the organisation never gets in.
Your personal workspace
That stays yours: nobody in the organisation looks into it. A colleague can only see what you share yourself.
Hours
Whoever manages a project sees everyone's hours on that project, per person, phase and task, and cannot change them. A member with the Manage hours right sees the hours of the organisation's members.
Someone leaves
If you remove someone from the organisation, they leave all teams and lose what was shared with them. Their personal workspace stays theirs.
